Ingredients:

  • 500g beef mince or chicken
  • 1 gluten-free taco seasoning recipe base
  • 100 ml gluten-free beef stock
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • gluten-free corn tortillas
  • shredded lettuce (optional)
  • salsa (optional)
  • grated cheese (optional)
  • lime (optional)
  • oil, for cooking

Method:

Place a large skillet over a medium heat with a splash of oil. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent. 

Next, add your beef and brown it thoroughly. Stir in your taco seasoning recipe base, sprinkling it evenly over the beef, and cook for another minute. Add the beef stock and cook until the mixture thickens.

Heat your tortillas.

For serving, place the beef in the centre of the tortilla, add shredded lettuce, salsa, and dairy-free cheese or normal and a squeeze of lime juice.
